Pistachio Honey Cake with Berries and Cream (Kue Pistachio Madu dengan Berry dan Krim)


This recipe is from Better Homes and Gardens magazine in April 2012




Ingredients

Cake:
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup pistachio nuts, ground.
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup honey
2 large eggs
1/2 cup milk

Honey-Orange Juice:
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp orange juice

Cream Frosting:
1/2 cup mascarpone cheese, chilled.
1 cup whipping cream, chilled.
2 tbsp honey

Topping:
1 lb fresh strawberries (washed and cut in halves)
2-3 tbsp honey
1-2 tbsp ground pistachio nuts




Bahan

Kue:
8 oz tepung terigu serbaguna (protein sedang)
4 oz tepung jagung
2 oz kacang pistachio, hancurkan.
2 sdt baking powder
1/2 sdt garam
4 oz mentega cair
4 oz madu
2 butir telur
4 oz susu putih cair

Jus Madu-Orange:
2 oz madu
2 sdm jus orange

Krim Frosting:
4 oz keju mascarpone
8 oz whipping cream
2 sdm madu

Topping:
454 gr strawberry (cuci dan di-iris menjadi dua bagian)
2-3 sdm madu
1-2 kacang pistachio yg sudah dihancurkan
